If you have a histamine intolerance, I don’t really recommend this recipe because of the cashews and lemon juice. If you are ok with the lemon juice you can substitute the cashews with macadamia nuts. Check out my other recipes that are fully low histamine here:

Cremige Rote Pasta

Grüne Pasta

Serves 2
Cooks in 10 Minutes
Difficulty Easy

INGREDIENTS

120g Spaghetti (I like to use the glutenfree one made from corn)
80g cashews
90ml oatmilk
1 lemon, juiced
2 garlic cloves (if you like less garlic flavour use only one clove)
2 tbsp olive oil
To taste salt & pepper
To serve: Fresh parsley and chili flakes

Method:

Cook the pasta as written on the package. In the meantime, place all the ingredients into a mixer and blend until smooth. Drain the pasta but save a little bit of the pasta water. Add the creamy sauce to the spaghetti and mix. If you want, add some of the pasta water to make it more smooth. Serve with fresh parsley and if you like it a bit spicy some chili flakes.
