The perfect fresh salad for summer, especially on very hot days. This salad is absolutely delicious and instantly makes you feel refreshed. Super quick to make and the mix of sweet and tangy is just beyond my words. You really need to try this out.

Fun fact: watermelons are grown in Israel and, along with oranges, are the “national fruit”. Whether for dessert or as a snack, here watermelon is eaten all summer and preferably with a salty cheese.

Serves 1 Bowl

Difficulty Easy

INGREDIENTS

2 Cups watermelon
1 cucumber
1/2 red onion
1 handfull olives
1 Tbs olive oil
Pinch salt & pepper
1 handfull basil
Optional feta, vegan

Method:

Cut the watermelon, cucumber and onion in small cubes.

Add olives, feta, olive oil and salt and mix well. Serve with fresh basil.
