This recipe is perfect for a date night at home❤️. The best vegan spaghetti “bolognese” recipe I’ve ever made! You can choose any type of pasta gluten-free or not that you like with it. It makes a lot so you will definitely also have leftovers the next day!

INGREDIENTS

50g Almonds
1 Onion, chopped
1 Garlic, chopped
1 Celery, chopped
200g Mushrooms, chopped
1 Carrot, chopped
1 Tsp. Thyme, dried
1 Tsp. Oregano, dried
1 Tsp. Rosmary, dried
400g Chopped tomatoes from a can
1.5 Tbsp. Nutritional yeast
2 Tbsp Tomato paste
Pasta for two people

Method:

Chop the nuts and roast them in a pan. Set aside. Fry the finely chopped onions, celery and carrots in a pan with a little oil. Fry for 5-10 minutes. Add the mushrooms. Add the herbs, chopped tomatoes and tomato puree and mix well. Let everything simmer for about 10min.

In the meantime cook the pasta. Finally, stir the yeast flakes and nuts into the sauce and serve with basil.
