You know how much I love waffles and today I have a savoury recipe for you. I think savoury waffles are a healthy change from the sweet alternative and are also great for lunch or dinner. You can also prepare the waffles on the weekend as a meal prep, then it’s really quick during the week! Just heat them up in the oven, airfryer or toaster and your meal is ready.
Tip: If you don’t have a waffle iron, you can simply make pancakes with this recipe.

Tip for histamine intolerance: Use corn flour works instead of chickpea flour and chard instead of spinach.

Serves 4 Waffles
Cooks in 15 Minutes
Difficulty Easy

INGREDIENTS

160 g flour (I use 90 g buckwheat flour, 50 g fine rice flour, 20 g chickpea flour)
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp tsp salt
4 Tbsp (1/2) lemon lemon
50 g fresh baby spinach
180 ml almond milk

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and pour a little oil onto the preheated waffle iron.
