A little magic can take you a ling way…

I’m full into the Christmas mood, watching all my favourite Christmas movies and making all kinds of seasonal yummy treats!

These candied apples are absolutely dreamy and look so beautiful when dipped into different kind of toppings. This is such a great treat that also looks super beautiful for your Christmas party or New Year’s Eve party:).

Candied apples also always remind me of my childhood when I used to eat them any opportunity I got!

Cooks in 10 Minutes
Difficulty Easy

INGREDIENTS

2 apples
100 g coconut sugar
25 g water
1 tbsp maple syrup
Toppings:
crushed pistachios & chocolate chips
almonds & coconut

Method:

Push a skewer from the top, into the apple and place in the fridge until our glaze is ready. Pour all the needed ingredients (coconut sugar, water and maple syrup) into a pan and heat up. Simmer for about 5-10 and turn off the stove. Let it sit for another 5 minutes and keep stiring. Now, take the cold apples out of the fridge and coat the apples with the caramel sauce. Dip into the desired topping and place on a plate ( I would put some baking paper underneath). Store in the fridge until the caramel hardens and enjoy!
