What are Zoats???

Zoats are the latest breakfast trend that is basically a tasty mixture of zucchini and oats. While this recipe might sounds a little unusual, it’s the absolute power breakfast. The taste of the oats stays almost unchanged and the zucchini just adds so much goodness to the beginning of your day as they are packed with vitamins.

Zoats are especially great for those who have super hectic mornings. Just pop the mixture into the fridge before going to sleep and let it soak overnight. This way, you just need to add the fruits and veggies and ur perfect breakfast is ready! This is also a great recipe to take with you if you don’t have time to enjoy it at home. It’s super easy to transport and so delicious. There is nothing better and making your own meals instead of just buying something finished on the way. This is such an easy recipe, there is no excuse anymore to make your own breakfast ;).

The combination of coconut, zucchini and apple is so creamy and sweet there is no need to add any sugar. This is teh perfect way to start the day, which will keep you full of energy until lunch!

INGREDIENTS

90 g oats (glutenfree if needed)
205 ml coconut milk
1 tsp chia seeds
100 g zucchini, shredded
1 small apple, shredded
1/2 tsp vanilla, grounded
Toppings: dried cherries/dried cranberries, hempseed (shelled)

Method:

Place the oats, coconut milk and chia seeds in a bowl and stir well. Soak the mixture overnight or at least 30 minutes in the fridge. Afterwards, stir in shredded zucchini and shredded apple. Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
