Flapjacks
back to mainThese are the best Flapjacks in the world!
Since I’ve made this recipe a few weeks ago, you can always find these flapjacks in my kitchen. They have also become so popular with my friends and family that I’m baking them almost daily! Luckily they only take 5 minutes to prepare and about 20 minutes in the oven. To be honest, I’m always happy to take a few minutes out of my day if it means that I’m making some delicious treats:).
The flavour of these are so yum! You can really taste the coconut and the combination of sweet and sour cherries or cranberries is divine. Traditional flapjacks are usually made with butter, this recipe only uses natural ingredients, which in my opinion doesn’t only taste better but also gives this treat an extra gooey texture, which is amazing.
Making a traditional snack healthy, doesn’t not mean you have to compromise any taste. Try these and let me know if you love them as much as I do! Just leave a comment in the comment section below:)
INGREDIENTS
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a casserole dish with baking paper. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl until all the oats are covered with the wet ingredients. Place the mixture into the lined casserole dish and distribute evenly. Use plastic wrap to press the mixture down firmly with your hands. Bake the flapjacks for 18-22 min until they are golden brown on top. Leave to cool completely and slice into bars. Store in an airtight box in the fridge for up to a week.
