Crispy Smashed Potatoes

These potatoes are crazy crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I’m sure this is going to be your new favourite way of making potatoes! The good thing about oven baked stuff is, that in the mean time you get time to do other things – whether that is making a salad or just relaxing for a minute.

My tip: make my basil pesto and put it over the potatoes while baking, it adds a lot of flavour to the dish.

Serves 2 Portions

500 g Potatoes
1 garlic head
2 tbsp olive oil


Boil the potatoes until soft, line a baking tray and squish the potatoes down using a glass. Sprinkle with olive oil and garlic, salt and pepper. Add pesto if you'd like.

Bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees.
