Creamy Red Pepper Sauce

This is my favourite super creamy red pepper pasta sauce. It only requires a few ingredients and is easy to make. Now you only need to choose your favourite gluten-free pasta and you can start cooking. 
It’s histaminfree and a great replacement to the classic tomato sauce. 
My tip: Make a bigger batch so you can freeze some of it and then you’ll always have a healthy alternative on hand.

INGREDIENTS

250 g glutenfree Pasta
2 small red peppers
1 small onion
250 ml oat milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp starch

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a backing tray with baking paper.

Quarter the onion and bell bell pepper and place on the lined baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes until the vegetables are soft.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Place the finished vegetables in a blender with the remaining ingredients for the sauce and puree. Mix the sauce with the pasta and serve with pepper and fresh basil!
